Supporting scholarships, internships, community-engaged projects, competitions, global experiences, industry partnerships, student organizations, experiential learning (at home and abroad), and career readiness opportunities that strengthen student success and leadership development.

Supporting interdisciplinary research initiatives, student-faculty research opportunities, professional lecture series and industry forums, community workshops and charrettes, outreach programs, and partnerships that advance sustainable and healthy built, natural, and virtual environments.

Every gift contributes to the resources that support SPDC students every day. Software licenses, professional memberships, workshops, professional guest lectures, and career development opportunities can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars each year. Gifts of all sizes collectively provide the steady support needed to make these opportunities available to our students.

Conferences, field studies, student competitions, professional networking, and other hands-on experiences connect classroom learning with professional practice. Supporting these enrichment opportunities can require $1,500 to $5,000 per student or activity, helping SPDC students learn beyond the classroom and represent our programs regionally and nationally.

Access to emerging and innovative technologies is essential to preparing students for rapidly changing professions. Investments of $5,000 to $15,000 can support classroom software and equipment, VR/AR and digital visualization tools, technology upgrades, and other innovative resources that keep student learning aligned with professional practice.

Larger investments allow SPDC to enhance the environments and resources that serve students across our programs. Gifts of $15,000 to $50,000 can support computer and hands-on labs, design studio enhancements, interdisciplinary learning spaces, advanced teaching resources, and larger initiatives that strengthen the educational experience across all programs in the School.

Gifts of $100,000 or more can create sustained opportunities for SPDC students and programs. Named endowments and other major gifts can support scholarships, student success, faculty and program innovation, experiential learning, and other priorities while creating an enduring connection between donors and future generations of SPDC students.
