The symposium provides an annual forum for graduate students in plant sciences and related fields to display and present their research for evaluation and constructive feedback from faculty and post-doc judges.

The Plant Science Graduate Student Research Symposium (PSGSRS) is Michigan State University's flagship research symposium for all plant science departments at MSU. PSGSRS plays a pivotal role in fostering academic exchange and collaboration within the plant science community at MSU all the way from 2002. This event provides a platform for graduate students to showcase their research findings, engage in discussions, and network with both peers and faculty members. PSGSRS also serves as a valuable opportunity for students to gain presentation experience and receive valuable feedback.
