Yuhan Wen is a PhD student in the School of Planning, Design and Construction at Michigan State University, specializing in Landscape Architecture. Her research focuses on the relationships between the built environment, human behavior, and urban well-being, with particular interests in walkability, urban safety, environmental perception, and green space accessibility. Her current doctoral research investigates how street-level environmental characteristics influence pedestrian experience and crime patterns, integrating GIS, street-view imagery, computer vision, and spatial analysis. Her broader research interests include urban analytics, human-centered environmental design, and the application of emerging geospatial and visual technologies to support healthier, safer, and more equitable urban environments.
