Wenxin Sun is a Ph.D. student in Planning, Design, and Construction, with a concentration in Environmental Design. She is also pursuing a dual major in Environmental Science and Policy. Her research focuses on enhancing community resilience through the planning and design of green-blue infrastructure, with her dissertation examining multiscalar nature-based solutions for urban flooding in coastal communities across the Great Lakes region. Wenxin also works as a research assistant on the Michigan Climate and Health Adaptation Project, funded by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, which provides technical assistance to vulnerable communities across Michigan in addressing climate-related health concerns. She also serves as a studio assistant for multiple undergraduate core courses in landscape architecture.
