Mohammed Rayan Saiba is a Ph.D. student in Construction Management at Michigan State University, where his research focuses on mass timber construction, construction education, and the application of emerging digital technologies in the built environment. His doctoral research explores the use of immersive virtual reality (VR) as an educational tool for developing mass timber competencies among architecture, engineering, and construction students. His broader research interests include Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction technology, sustainable construction, workforce education, and interdisciplinary AEC competency development. My scholarly work includes research on VR-enhanced construction education and mass timber education. Through his research, Mohammed seeks to advance innovative approaches to construction education and contribute to the broader adoption of sustainable building systems and technologies.
