Dr. Armin Yeganeh is an Assistant Professor in the Construction Management program at Michigan State University’s School of Planning, Design, and Construction. His research focuses on applying data science, artificial intelligence, and spatial analytics to advance construction management, housing systems, and real estate development.

At MSU, Dr. Yeganeh leads externally funded research supported by national and regional associations and research centers. His applied scholarship includes national industry reports and best-practice manuals, including an AI roadmap guide developed in collaboration with the Associated General Contractors of America. He regularly designs and delivers executive workshops and training sessions for construction leaders focused on AI adoption, data-driven decision-making, and digital transformation. His research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals and emphasizes open-access data, applied analytics, and the translation of research into practice for contractors, investors, and policymakers.

Prior to joining MSU, Dr. Yeganeh was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Virginia Center for Housing Research at Virginia Tech, where he served as a co–principal investigator on housing innovation and energy efficiency initiatives. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Design and Planning from Virginia Tech, along with master’s degrees in Urban and Regional Planning and Building Construction Science and Management. He also holds a master’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
