The Institute of Water Research at Michigan State University is dedicated to developing science-based technology, research, educational programs, and partnerships to help understand and address critical water issues. Together with our extensive network of partners IWR has taken a leadership role in multiple areas of water research in the Great Lakes region. With more then 20 years of funded research IWR has established it’s self as a leading institution focused on groundwater research, PFAS and micro- and nanoplastics modeling.
