Biography

Dr. Subhasis Giri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering at Michigan State University (MSU). He earned his PhD in Natural Resources and Environmental Systems from Michigan State University. His research focuses on watershed hydrology and water quality, with an emphasis on monitoring, modeling, and developing sustainable management strategies to address challenges posed by climate change and other anthropogenic stressors. His work integrates field observations, geospatial technologies, remote sensing, and hydrologic modeling to improve understanding of watershed processes and support science-based water resource management.
