Matt is a Certified Wildlife Biologist® with more than 22 years of experience in endangered species conservation and federal regulatory policy. His background spans time as a biologist in the federal, state, and private sectors. Matt’s current role is overseeing wildlife and research strategy for energy development at NextEra Energy Resources. His research interests include applied endangered species policy, landscape-level conservation, and the renewable energy-wildlife nexus.
