Joe Kreider is a Michigan State University Extension 4-H statewide educator. He has worked in this capacity since October 2023. Joe's primary office location is in Kalkaska County.

In this role, Joe focuses on Natural Resources and Outdoor Education with the Science Team. This includes coordinating the statewide 4-H Shooting Sports Program and 4-H Great Lakes and Natural Resources Camp, among other regional and statewide outdoor education programs. He currently serves on the board of the Michigan Alliance for Environmental and Outdoor Education, where he Chairs the Education Committee, with a focus on connecting resources and partners to cultivate environmental literacy and stewardship across Michigan.

Prior to joining MSU Extension, Joe was director of a middle school after school and summer camp program and held other positions in youth development organizations ranging from school-based programs to residential treatment centers for adjudicated youth.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Native American Studies and Outdoor Education from Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin.
