Hannah Chanoine is a partner at O’Melveny and co-chair of their consumer class actions practice.

Hannah began her career clerking for the Hon. Sonia Sotomayor on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and then served as a trial attorney in the Department of Justice, Civil Division (Federal Programs Branch) through the Attorney General’s Honors Program. Hannah received her JD from Columbia University School of Law.

Her class action defense practice focuses on consumer facing products companies. She has defended and advised leading manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of products including candy, smartwatches, pet food, coconut water, sneakers, energy efficient televisions, skincare products, household cleaners, whitening toothpaste, flavored olive oil, yogurt, baking products, juice beverages, baby food, spices, smoked fish, natural personal care products, and other consumer products. She also counsels CPG companies on risk mitigation strategies for product labels, and assist investors with litigation risk assessments of target companies during due diligence.
