Are you a farmer or owner of farmland? Join Michigan State University Extension at 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, for a free 1-hour webinar on conservation easements within farm succession planning.

During the webinar, Kim Hayes of the Leelanau Conservancy and Will Manty of the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy will provide details about when and how conservation easements can be set up for farmland. They will describe how easements can fit within a larger succession plan, discussing the benefits and challenges that can occur.

This webinar will be recorded and put up on the MSU Extension website afterwards so that it can be accessed anytime.
