Ciara Hovis, a PhD student studying with Jianguo “Jack” Liu, has been awarded the Vera M. Wallach Scholarship for Wildlife Ecology or Management of Wildlife, which supports graduate students studying wildlife management, wildlife ecology, or natural resource management.
The $3,000 award will help support her final summer of field work looking at how global trade effects biodiversity in importing countries.
