Seasonal Horticulture / Landscape Assistant – University Club of MSU

 

The University Club of MSU  is seeking an individual with an interest or background in horticulture or landscape management to assist with the preparation and ongoing maintenance of plant beds throughout the season.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

·         Spring “clean-up” and preparation of plant beds, including some transplanting

·         Routine maintenance (weeding, edging, etc.)

·         Light pruning of trees and shrubs as needed

·         Helping maintain overall appearance of landscaped areas

 

Details:

 

·         Start: As soon as possible

·         Schedule: Flexible, part-time (hours can vary based on availability and seasonal needs)

·         Compensation: Paid; structure (hourly or project-based) will be determined based on experience and availability

 

This opportunity is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience and take ownership of a defined landscape area.
