The Department of Horticulture offers different academic programs and options that can be tailored to fit students' interests and career goals.
Graduates with horticulture knowledge and skills enter a broad range of challenging and rewarding professional careers in production, management, marketing, education and research.
Internships
As part of the horticulture undergraduate and certificate programs, students are required to complete an internship before graduation providing on-the-job training and skill development.
Student Life
Students can get involved with education abroad, undergraduate research, student organizations like the Student Horticulture Association, and in-the-field work on the Student Organic Farm.
