This is a free, virtual meetup group for fruit farmers who grow fruit using non-conventional practices, including but not limited to organic farmers. Each one-hour meeting has a theme, with the fifteenth meeting theme being "Spring Q & A with organic certifiers." We have invited special guests Lora Welliver and Kimberly Van Sanford, certifiers with Ecocert USA, to present on certification and answer questions our attendees may have about the certification process (NB: this will not include the information on financial benefits to certification). This will be a chance to share techniques and challenges with other fruit growers.
