Earn ServSafe® certification with help from MSU Extension.
MSU Extension offers ServSafe® Manager Training and Certification, which is a national certification program. This class is designed for anyone working in the foodservice industry, including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and non-profit organizations.
Certification exam is taken at the end of the day. Participants must receive a 70% score on the exam to earn certification. ServSafe® printed exams are available in French Canadian, Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
Registration Information
The Detroit Public Library is generously paying for registration fees and textbooks. There is no cost to register for the class or to own a copy of the textbook.
As there are limited spots available, please only register if you intend to attend the class.
Please ensure you read the textbook before attending the class. Textbooks can be picked up by appointment only at 1360 Oakman Blvd Detroit MI 48238. Instructors
Classes are taught by MSU Extension educators, who are certified instructors and exam proctors through the National Restaurant Association.
